iPhone art on The New Yorker

Jorge Colombo drew this week’s cover using Brushes, an application for the iPhone, while standing for an hour outside Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Times Square. This story gave a new meaning to me for the iPhone, not only can you make your own cupcakes, you can design a cover for a magazine, damn.

Supermarket distractions

The other day while I was wasting an absurd amount of time at the supermarket looking at the designs more so then the food, I notice the eye pleasing design of smartfood (fiber fused, candy popcorn for the ladies). I really found myself attracted to this box, almost enough to purchase, but then I remember my dislike for candy popcorn, so instead I admired and past. I think it is the ultra decorated ampersand.

On the upper west side the other day I came across a woman wearing the most amazing, brightly colored sneakers I have yet to see. I immediately walked up and asked her where they were from and she replied "nikeid.com". As soon as I came home I went online a created my dream sneakers to add to my vast collection. A dear friend of mine gave a gift to me of my initials (in iron letter forms) from urban outfitters.
