Jorge Colombo drew this week’s cover using Brushes, an application for the iPhone, while standing for an hour outside Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Times Square. This story gave a new meaning to me for the iPhone, not only can you make your own cupcakes, you can design a cover for a magazine, damn.
The other day while I was wasting an absurd amount of time at the supermarket looking at the designs more so then the food, I notice the eye pleasing design of smartfood (fiber fused, candy popcorn for the ladies). I really found myself attracted to this box, almost enough to purchase, but then I remember my dislike for candy popcorn, so instead I admired and past. I think it is the ultra decorated ampersand.
On the upper west side the other day I came across a woman wearing the most amazing, brightly colored sneakers I have yet to see. I immediately walked up and asked her where they were from and she replied "nikeid.com". As soon as I came home I went online a created my dream sneakers to add to my vast collection. What a perfect shoe solution for a designer. Feeling creative ? nikeid.com

A dear friend of mine gave a gift to me of my initials (in iron letter forms) from urban outfitters. So I headed to urban outfitters online to do my usual online wish list making and stumbled on these fantastic marquee alphabet lights! I LOVE type and especially in bright lights. Check it out: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=16815151&itemdescription=true&navAction=jump

After reading about the world beard and mustache championship, I started to dive deeper into this fantastic world of facial hair. A styled face garden on burly man is a hidden desire I have possessed for quite sometime. Check out the website where you can see the wonderful world of hairy men and perhaps join in. Remember women never look good with facial hair.

How awesome is the USPS for adding, in my opinion the best stamp yet. The Simpson family stamps made their appearance on May 7th. So break out your nice correspondence stock and add your favorite family member to your snail mail.
